Lockdown was announced and Hackney yoga studio Stretch closed its doors. Tara was commissioned by art directors Laura Tabet and Lauren Barrett to make a film to celebrate the global Stretch community as they all joined for daily classes online. The togetherness and unity created by this online community was a lifeline for so many at a truly confronting time. This connection inspired Stretch students all over the world to continue with their home practise and remind them that they were part of something big and special not only during a global pandemic but as communities shattered and came together to join Black Lives Matter.
