A Quiet Heart In The Nightime
A film about an incredible cast of characters from Selma, Alabama on a trip inspired by Carson McCulller’s 1940 novel, ‘The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter’ and an extraordinary chance meeting with Frederick Douglas Reese, a civil rights activist, educator and minister from Selma who marched alongside Martin Luther King in the Selma to Montgomery marches which later led to the passage of the Voting Rights Act.
